Bring Shoppers Back to Checkout on WhatsApp

Most carts are abandoned over an unanswered question, not a change of mind. A recovery message that can actually answer it — and then hand over a checkout link — is a different proposition to an email nobody opens.

See Cart Recovery in Action

A shopper leaves a cart, gets a follow-up, asks a question, and checks out — all in one thread.

How Recovery Works

The follow-up is a conversation, not a broadcast. That is the part that changes the outcome.
It starts from your store's cart data
Chabo is connected to your catalogue and orders, so it knows what was left behind, at what price, and whether it is still in stock.
The message can answer back
An email reminder is one-way. If the shopper replies asking about sizing, delivery cost or lead time, the AI sales agent answers from your catalogue instead of leaving them waiting.
Straight back to your checkout
When they are ready, the conversation produces a link into your own WooCommerce or Shopify checkout, with your existing payment gateways.
Reaches people where they read
Recovery runs in WhatsApp rather than an inbox, which is the practical reason it gets opened at all.
Stops when it should
Recovery follows the same opt-in and opt-out handling as the rest of the platform, managed against the customer’s verified WhatsApp number. Someone who opts out stops hearing from you.
Escalates a high-value cart
Smart Escalation can hand a large or complicated cart to a human before it is lost, so your team spends its time where the money is.

Cart Recovery Questions

Timing is configured per store rather than fixed, because the right delay for a R200 repeat purchase is not the right delay for a R20,000 considered one. We will set it with you during onboarding.
That is configured too, and deliberately conservative. WhatsApp is a personal channel and over-messaging costs you the opt-in permanently, along with your number's quality rating with Meta.
The dashboard shows conversations and the sales that came from them. Worth being precise about what that number means: it is revenue from carts that were followed up and then completed. Some of those shoppers would have returned anyway. Treat it as recovered revenue rather than proof of incremental revenue, unless you run a holdout group to measure the difference.
Yes. Recovery links through to your own WooCommerce or Shopify checkout and whatever payment gateways you already run.
Recovery reaches customers who have opted in to hear from you on WhatsApp. It is not a way to message someone who has only ever given you an email address.
The mechanics are similar; the channel and the conversation are not. An email can only restate the cart. A WhatsApp recovery message can answer the question that caused the hesitation and then close the sale in the same thread.
